Ethnum was founded by legal accounting professionals with years of experience inside law firms, managing IOLTA accounts, bar audits, and partner reconciliations. They saw firsthand how even accomplished attorneys struggled with trust accounting issues that consumed valuable time and energy.
Over the years, our founders realized that while the tools and expertise for legal accounting existed, no provider had successfully combined them into a solution built exclusively for law firms. This inspired the creation of Ethnum with a clear mission: to provide law firms with financial experts who already understand the legal industry.
Today, Ethnum proudly serves law firms across all 56 US jurisdictions, supporting everyone from solo practitioners to multi-partner firms handling millions in billings. Ashish Tulsian is a legal accounting and trust compliance expert with extensive experience helping law firms manage financial operations efficiently and with confidence. He specializes in trust accounting, IOLTA compliance, and financial reporting for attorneys, ensuring firms remain compliant while reducing administrative burden, risk, and costly errors.
With a strong background in legal finance, Ashish works closely with solo practitioners and growing firms to streamline accounting processes, improve accuracy, and simplify complex trust management. He focuses on building structured, scalable systems that bring clarity to financial operations and support long-term growth.
His goal is to help attorneys save time, maintain complete compliance, and operate with greater confidence—so they can focus more on their clients instead of managing books, while building a strong and reliable financial foundation for their firm.
